History of The Park Bar

Recent times

Sandra and her daughter Cheryl took over the Park Bar in September 2017. Since then the “pub” they inherited has been transformed to a bright, modern bar and lounge.  The icing on the cake was to get the kitchen up and running providing a much needed, reasonably priced, restaurant to Dalmuir.

History of The Park

  • History of The Park
  • The Park Bar first appeared at 421 Dumbarton Road after a German bomb flattened the original premises during the Clydebank Blitz.
  • The present lounge was added with the acquisition of the shop at 423 Dumbarton Road.
  • Goldfish (22 to be exact) were found swimming in the basement when a sewer burst and flooded it in 1971.
